NO. 1
REMEDIAL
Can be an all over general massage where the therapist works you head to toe, finding and releasing tension as they go, or it can be a very targeted focused session such as a dedicated leg session or a upper body, shoulders and neck session. Particular emphasis is placed on findings of assessment and/or the presenting complaint or condition. Remedial massage is inclusive of skills and techniques such as myofascial release, trigger point therapy and dry needling.
NO. 2
SPORTS MASSAGE
Similar to remedial although pressure is dependent on the athlete’s position in their training program. Incorporates more dynamic techniques such as stretching, MET and PNF as well as active release techniques. Sports Massage is inclusive of a recovery Massage after a big event where the focus is on flushing and working through the muscles to improve recovery times.
NO. 3
LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE
A form of gentle massage that encourages the movement of lymph fluids around the body. The fluid in the lymphatic system helps remove waste and toxins from the bodily tissues. Some health conditions can cause lymph fluid to build up. Lymphatic drainage massages can benefit people with lymphedema, fibromyalgia, and other conditions.
NO. 4
PREGNANCY MASSAGE
A therapeutic massage specifically designed for the needs of pregnant women. It helps to alleviate some of the common physical discomforts associated with pregnancy while promoting relaxation and well-being.
NO. 5
HOT STONE
Involves placing smooth, heated stones on specific points of the body and using them during massage strokes. The heat from the stones helps to relax muscles and improve circulation, promoting faster healing in damaged tissues.
NO. 6
BUCCAL
The ultimate facial tension reliever. Most of us spend our lives with our heads in the incorrect position. Forward head posture tightens our neck muscles and upper back, which can directly affect the function of your jaw. Starting with an external massage of the facial muscles, progress to an internal jaw release, then move on to an internal massage of the facial muscles, finishing with a scalp and remedial neck massage. This treatment has the added bonus of lifting and firming your skin whilst also clearing fluid to lymph nodes. Incredible!
