NATUROPATHY & NUTRITION
At EVOLVE HEALTH ILLAWARRA, we are all about supporting the body's capacity to heal. Research has continued to show the strong link between muscle health, gut health and mental health. Our Naturopath and Nutritionist are here to help you, focusing on improving your health through a number of treatment practices.
WHAT IS NATUROPATHY?
Naturopathy is a holistic approach to wellness based on the principle that the body has the inherent ability to heal itself. It focuses on the body as a whole, rather than just the illness presenting itself. Naturopaths occasionally create liquid herbs for ingestion and recommend natural supplements and other self management techniques such as deep breathing to help you on your journey to better health.
WHAT IS NUTRITION?
Nutrition is the study of nutrients in food, how the body uses them, and the relationship between diet, health, and disease. Nutritionists use ideas from molecular biology, biochemistry, and genetics to understand how nutrients affect the human body. Nutrition also focuses on how people can use dietary choices to reduce the risk of disease, what happens if a person has too much or too little of a nutrient, and how allergies work.
